My dedication to older adults and their families began when my mom, Josie had to call 911. After a hospital stay and time in rehab, it was clear that she couldn’t return home. Overwhelmed does not describe the feeling that I had, there were so many pieces to put into place.
After a lot of searching, I was fortunate to find the free service of a Certified Senior Advisor. Someone to help guide us through the process of finding the right community for my mom, along with the resources needed.
After moving into her Senior Living Community, she described it as a new beginning, a new place to call home, and all the friends she made there dubbed her as the Puzzle Queen…
